Strangles Rumour Update:

After the committee meeting tonight it has been decided that the show WILL go ahead this Sunday.
There has been no confirmed case of strangles in the area, however we would ask that every one is vigilant when it comes to your horses well being and if you suspect your horse may be unwell, please do not bring him or her to the show.
Please make yourself aware of the symptoms of strangles, there are many sites offering advice on the internet and there will be information sheets available at the caravan on Sunday.

Norton and District Riding Club is a friendly organisation which was developed to cater for all abilities; from tiny tots, to the most experienced riders. Since being first founded the location of the club has changed, and is now based on 'The Old Football Field' in Swinderby.

It has always been the aim of Norton & District Riding Club to provide shows and events that cater for all abilities and ages. As a club we pride ourselves in the ability we have to help our members grow and develop into dedicated and successful horse men and women.

From lead Rein showing to Open showjumping, games and everything in between we believe there is something for everyone at our events held throughout the season.

We are always keen to welcome new faces to the club, whether you are interested in competitive showing, the hustle and bustle of Gymkhana games or are even just looking for a nice day out  with your four legged friend, we have something for you!
